Columbus-ted

Well, after sarcastically mocking the school calendar, I realized today that Pembroke may be one of the only schools in the Metro area that celebrates Columbus Day. So here’s to you Pembroke! You keep celebrating the enslavement of Native Americans so that I can keep sleeping until 12:00 on days when my public school friends are slaving away at the grindstone at the wee hours of the morning.
